She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Myers and Annie Myers (Armitage); her husband Charles Acker; and her children, Sandra Dewolfe, Helen Briand and Alden Acker.

She is survived by: her brothers, James Myers (Doreen) of Cow Bay, NS, Willard Myers of Riverview, NB and Owen Myers (Sandy) of Ingomar, NS.; and her children, Dorothy Swift (Lorne) of Fall River, NS and Brian Acker of Barrys Bay, ON. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great- great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
