He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmeline Peitzche and Fred Bastie; his stepfather Harry Peitzche; and his brothers, Ferdie Bastie (Dottie) and John.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Bastie (Flick); his daughter Sharon Scattolon Cole Harbour (Romano); his great grandchildren, Maverick and Royce; his sister Sharon Schelleman (Wayne); and his sibling's children, Cherie, Robbie, Fred, Michelle and Kathy.
There will be no service at this time due to COVID and at a later date the family will hold a gathering.
