We announce the death of Robert Joseph Forgeron (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 27, 2026. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Robert will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Robert will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Robert’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Forgeron and Carolyn Forgeron; his brother Cory (Kaila); his nephew Tyson; his niece Clara; and his grandparents, Newton, Sandra Hattie and Ida Forgeron.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dartmouth Funeral Home (29 Queen St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1E9). A burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dartmouth Memorial Gardens (767 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9).
He was eternally grateful for the support he received from colleagues and students alike during his fight with cancer and our entire family could never thank his dear friend Dave Nagle and everyone who supported Dave's GoFundMe for Rob.
