He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gosse and Winnie Gosse (Butler); his siblings, Bass, Violet and Daphne; and his brothers-in-law, Peter Jackman, Ron Hill, Edward Purcell, Gil Lafreniere and Eddie Byrne.

He is survived by: his significant other Marie Gosse (English); his children, Jeff Gosse (Cindy), Albert Gosse (Brenda), Katrina Gosse, Leanna Gosse, Sackville and Jennifer Purcell (Colin); his grandchildren, Amber, Sean, Jessica, Jeremy, Jared, Marc, Maria and Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Kayden, Kohan and Blayke; his siblings, Jack, Doreen, Donna, Joan, Judy, Brenda, Sandra, Boyd, Barry and Anna; and his siblings-in-law, Thelma Gosse, Joan Gosse, Barb Gosse, Harold Stanley, Tom Stapleton, Doug Richards and Robert Hill.

Due to covid restrictions the family will be having a private gathering but a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
