She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosetta Beals (Raymond) and Carl E. Downey; her siblings, Terrance Smith, George Sparks and Carol Downey; her grandparents, Noah, Rebecca Smith (Grouse), Peter and Ida Downey (Beals); and her godparents, Isaac and Mary Fraser (Johnson).
She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Rudder (Michael), Marsha Feeley (Dave) and Bedford; her siblings, Irma Simmonds (Ernest) of North Preston, Sherry Willis (Leroy) of North Preston, Michelle Downie, Milton Smith (Minerva) of Toronto, Michael Beals (JD) of Toronto, Anthony Beals (Tony) of Toronto, Dr. Ibrahim J. Downey (Zuraini) of Toronto, Darrell (Paula) of Toronto and Michael Downie (Kim) of Toronto; her grandchildren, Tremico, Alisa and Tkeyah (Emmanuel); her great grandchildren, Keezaidra, Trevontae and Mehkai; her goddaughters, Marie Smith and Paula Frances (Provo); her son Robert; her granddaughter Victoria; and her great grandchild Keezondre.
