He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Grosset and Cecile Grosset (Dionne) of Sydney, NS.; his former wife Augusta Grossett (Bethune); and his siblings, Roland, Teresa, Margaret and Irma.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Grossett (Blackmore); his siblings, Richard and Mary-Jane; his children, Lori McIntyre (John), Gail Kennerknecht (Wayne) and David Grossett (Krista); his stepchildren, Kim Dowding (Tim), Paul Blackmore (Karla) and Rick Blackmore (Bethany); and his grandchildren, Justin C, Lindsey, Toni Sebastian, Nicholas, Jeremy, Justin, Brooklyn, Nina-Marie, Noah, Zachary, Hanna and Eli.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to either the Canadian Cancer Society, The Alzheimer Society of Canada or The Last Post Fund of Canada.
