He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mallon and Rose Mallon (Dougherty); and his brother Brian. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Rose (McEwan); his children, James, Gerald (Mary), Deborah Kline (Kevin) and Sarah Louise Mallon (Brad); his grandsons, Liam Kline and Braydon Crooks; and his siblings, James (Doreen), Elizabeth McHenry (Tommy), Anne McLevey (James) and Rose Weir (Russell).
