He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Willard Charles Dowell and Jean Pauline Dowell (Campbell); and his wife Shirley Dowell (Bennett). He is survived by: his stepmother Jenny Dowell (Stoddard); his daughters, Carolyn Cameron (Craig) of Phee's Corner and Heather Killen (Darrick); his grandchildren, Janice (Joseph), Jessica (Justin), David (Joelle), Melanie (Jason) and Emily (Joshua); and his great grandchildren, Avery, Charlotte, Maeve, Lucas and Chloe.
