She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezekiel Acker and Radie Acker (Woodworth); her husband Joseph Ryan; and her sons, Patrick and James Ryan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Lajoie (Jean "Pepe") of Dartmouth and Sharon Ryan (Ray) of Dartmouth. She is also survived by Six great- grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
