We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Roy Joseph Melanson of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Melanson and Agnes Melanson (LeBlanc); and his brothers, Lloyd Melanson and Donald LeBlanc. He is survived by: his wife Lucille (Aucoin); his sons, Michael (Linda) of Dartmouth and Johnny of Dartmouth; his siblings, David Melanson (Erin), Bernard Melanson (Dorothy) of Markham, ONT, Shirley Bellefontaine (Donald), Doris Doucette (Morris) of Scarborough, ONT and Eileen Melanson; his sister-in-law Marilyn Melanson; his grandchildren, Sarah, Taylor, Micala and Logan; and his close friend Danny Smith.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family memorial service will be held in Saint John John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 35 Colby Drive, Dartmouth.

Donations in memory may be made to Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
