With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Salmon (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Salmon and Iris Salmon; his son Brian; his sisters, Lynne Adams (Ottawa) and Bonnie Salmon (Ottawa); and his brother-in-law Kevin Hall (Winnipeg).

He is survived by: his wife Heather; his daughter Lori (Derek) Osmond (Ottawa); his stepsons, Ryan (Sherie), Gray (Winnipeg) and Darren (Erin); his sister Shelley (Ralph); and his siblings-in-law, Rick Hall (Shirley), Bob Adams (Ottawa), Anita Winnipeg (Kozyrskyj), Linda (Charlie) and Thompson (Saint John). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Donations may be made to Dartmouth General Palliative Care, the Canadian Cancer Society or South End Baptist Church.
