She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Hobson and Ruby Hobson (Day); and her husband William Delaney (Bill). She is survived by: her children, Michelle Ernst (David), Kelly Lockhart (Jason) and John Delaney (Teresa); her grandchildren, Ellen, Derek Duffy, Connor Warnell, Benjamin Lockhart, Olivia Lockhart and Matthew Crawley; her great grandchildren, Madelyn Duffy and Luca Crawley; her sisters, Deborah Simmons (Nick), Marlene Hobson and Carolyn Barrett (Ronnie); and her siblings-in-law, Lorna Bushor, Agnes Bent and Milton Ford Delaney. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
