It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Victor Porter of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Centreville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Porter and Maude Porter (Wournell); his children, Karen Whitehead, Kathy Porter-Cunningham and Kevin Porter; his children-in-law, Stephen Whitehead, Gregg Cunningham and Sharron Porter; his grandchildren, Matthew Whitehead (Lisa Whitehead), Tristan Whitehead (Victoria Coulthart), Elizabeth Whitehead (Noam Ives), Bryan Cunningham (Catherine Cunningham) and Ainsley Cunningham (Jack Wong); his great grandchildren, Henry Whitehead, Veronica Whitehead, Adeline Whitehead, Cabot Ives, Isaac Whitehead and Thomas Cunningham; and his siblings-in-law, Eldon Taylor, Olive Archibald, Marilyn Archibald and Pat McLean. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
