She was predeceased by: her parents, Chesley Barrett and Florence Barrett (Head); and her siblings, Madeline Bishop, Brenda Pittman and Marve Barrett.
She is survived by: her husband Ken Ranni; her daughters, Vanessa (Troy) of Middle Sackville, NS and Lindsey (Ron) of Hampton, NB; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Liam, Noel, Calliyah and William; and her sisters, Judy MacKay, Sydney, Gail Barrett (Donnie Hillier), Laura Pennell (Harvey) and Terry "Butch" Barrett. She is also survived by many nieces and, nephews.
