He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Kennedy and Mary Isabel Kennedy (MacDonald); his siblings, Angus L. (Jean), John Dan (Rita), Joe, Francis, Catherine MacLean (Alex), Florence Daynes (Russ) and Annie Belle; and his in-laws, James, Mary Delorey, Henry, Terri, Cliff LeBlanc and Albert Carnegie.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes (Delorey); his children, DJ (Erika), Tony (Marcia), Paul (Angelus), Betty Bartel and Laura Hansen (Blayne); his grandchildren, Noah, Zoe, Samantha, Kalli, Alissa, Anna, Joseph, James, Kristen, Catherine and Theo; and his sister Annabelle Smith (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church.
