She was predeceased by: her parents, John Grant and Grace Grant of Dartmouth; her husband Tom Mackenzie; her grandchildren, Aiden Mackenzie and Jaydon Davis; her sister Judith MacDonald; and her sister-in-law Shelley Mackenzie.

She is survived by: her children, Gillian, Bonnie Mackenzie, Michael and David Mackenzie (Apiffanie); her siblings, Sharon Grover, Glenda Ellenberger (Brian), John "Jack" Grant and Ian Grant (Zelda); her grandchildren, Unique, Asia, Dalen, Lola, Madden, Kellen, Makayla, Ellie, Willem, Brandon, Mason, Ava, Bella and Alec; her great grandchildren, Kavaia and Aria; and her brother-in-law Robert Mackenzie (Kim). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
