She was predeceased by: her parents, Vikram Prinja and Shashi Prinja. She is survived by: her husband Oliphent Richards; her daughter Nalini (Shehan); her grandchildren, Reyna, Priyanka and Samuel; and her brother Rakesh.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9).
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, in honour of the compassion, understanding, and care she believed everyone deserves.
