She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Viola (McDonald) and Cecil Thomas McKenzie of Woodside, Dartmouth.; her husband Donald; and her daughter Joanne Shirley (Charles). She is survived by: her siblings, Gloria June Dowdell of Ontario, Joy Marie Smith of Dartmouth and Randall Bruce Paul (Diane) of Bedford; her children, Donnie (Jean), Brian (Gail), Lynn (Greg), Toni, Peter (Kelly) and Joy; her cousin Lillian Richards (Mickey); and her brothers, Neil Lyle (Chubby), Cecil Dawn (Bim), Lloyd Allison (Buddy), Beverly James (Bev), Lorne Alton (Cappy) and Baby Roderick. She is also survived by Mom also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid 19 there will be no visitation.
