She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Leblanc and Charlotte Leblanc. She is survived by : her daughter Melinda (Frank); her grandchildren, Joshua, Alyssa and Blake; her great grandchild Saturn; and her siblings, Darlene (Darrell), David (Venice), Emily, Gerald (Janet), Gladys, Helen (Bernie), Joe (Linda), Keith (Paula), Kenneth (Gloria), Lloyd (Shelia), Peter (Emily), Sharon (Glyn) and Susan (Ron). She is also survived by her 13 siblings.

“I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Stella at the IWK and I remember her knitting my babies beautiful sweaters (and a matching one for a doll!). She had a remarkable ability to connect with people. One day when I was with a family, we saw Stella. The mother saw Stella and they gave each other a big hug. The family had spent a lot of time at the IWK a decade ago and this mother had felt a strong connection with Stella. Jamesie Coolican”
