He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Allison O'Brien and Jean Gladys O'Brien (Stewart); his daughters, Allyson and Courtney O'Brien; his siblings, Carla Purcell (Stephen) and Michael O'Brien; his sister-in-law Nina O'Brien; his nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Kayleigh Purcell, Thomas and Theodore O'Brien; his pets, Meeko, Max and Peanut; his brother Wayne "Red"; and his stepmother Mona O'Brien (Forsythe).
