He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adriaan Obdam and Mechelina Obdam (Spreeuw); his children, Paul (Chantana), Carl (Anne Marie) and Glenda Siteman (David); his grandchildren, Amanda, Alex, Matthew, Katherine (Ashley), Adrianne (Brentley), Nicholas (Kaitlin), Thomas and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Olivia and Logan; his brother Aat Obdam; his siblings-in-law, Joop (Coby), Hermie Degenaars and Dicky Obdam; his wife Suus; his sister-in-law Ans Obdam; and his grandmother Degenaars. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
