Thelma Golda Romkey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2023, at the age of 82, Thelma Golda Romkey of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Myrtle Peters (Barker); her former husband Gerald Edward Ritchie; her brother Carl Peters; her son Stephen Harry Ritchie; her great grandchild Edward Wibberley; her son-in-law Stephen Browning; and her pet Riley.

She is survived by: her husband Donald Earl Romkey; her sons, Stanley Ritchie (Kim) and Donald Ritchie (Patricia); her stepson Earl Romkey (Natasha); her daughters, Christina Browning and Lorna Ritchie (Tom); her daughter-in-law Darlene Ritchie; her stepdaughters, Victoria Palmeter (Paul) and Agnes Rendell (Keith); her brother Harry Peters (Gail); and her sister-in-law Dolly Peters. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of mom to Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
