He was predeceased by : his mother Evelyn; his daughter Juanita; his grandchildren, Liam and Curran; and his siblings, Richard (Ann) and Amelia (Merle).

He is survived by : his wife JoAnne; his daughters, Angela Chiasson Mikovitch (Jerry), Nichole Currie (Jody) and Michelle MacLean; his grandchildren, Tiffany Buchanan, Ella, Jude Fox, Gwen, Ada Currie, Eli and Avery Strang; his siblings, Liz Chiasson, Adele Larade (Michel), Diane Chiasson, Placide Chiasson (Carla) and Belinda; and his brother-in-law Jerry Barrett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As an avid animal lover, donations in his memory can be made to any animal rescue of your choice.
