He was predeceased by: his parents, George Inkpen and Edith Inkpen; his parents-in-law, Bill and Hope Dunbar; and his brother-in-law Wayne Wells.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Inkpen (Dunbar); his children, Randy (Leanne), Kori (Lorenzo) of Redmond, WA and Wendi (Mike) of Rossland, BC; his grandchildren, Matthew (Erin), Jaclyn Inkpen, Gabi, Declan Quinn, Cameron and Connor Nagle; his sister-in-law Susan Wells; his son-in-law Jeff Quinn; his goddaughter Margaret Champion; and his brother Albert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
