We announce the death of Tibor Berta (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 13, 2026. Tibor will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jozsef Berta and Ilona Horvath of Szeged, Hungary.; his wife Diane Berta (Giffin); his daughter Ilona MacAlpine (Nicole Soontiens); his grandchildren, Courtney Soontiens, Nick MacAlpine, Carter Soontiens and Alex MacAlpine; and his great grandchild Malikhi.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
