With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Edison Sutherland (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 11, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edison Sutherland and Alice Sutherland (MacKeen); and his brother Doug. He is survived by: his wife Fauline (Wilson); his children, Eugene (Michele), Cindy, Shane (Cindy), Brady and Martin Wilson; his grandchildren, Amber, Cary, Dillon, Lacey and Craig; his great grandchildren, Keith, Caiden and Christian; and his sisters, Olive and Wanda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
