It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor William Carvery (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 20, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Duna" and Daisy Carvery (Thompson); his wife Valerie Carvery (Farmer); and his brothers, Raymond and Clarence Jr..

He is survived by: his brother Eddy; his children, Victor Jr. Sampson (Cynthia) of Moncton, Jason Carvery of Toronto, Meteana Sampson of Halifax, Quincy Farmer-Smith (Steven) of Dartmouth and Bonnie Carvery (Duran Rolle) of Dartmouth; his brothers, Eddie Carvery Sr. of Halifax, Irvine Carvery (Monica) of Halifax and Edward Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Loretta "Snooky" Thompson and Percilla Carvery of Halifax; his grandchildren, Dawn Carvery of Halifax, Anne Carvery and Janice Farmer; his godchildren, Maya, Brayden, Devin, Broady, Lance, Tanisha, Penelope, Brianna, Peyton, Diandra, Paige, Sierra, Ansala, Drezden, Destiny, Jayna, Jayce, O'Shea, Valynn, Néomy and N'Kela (Devin); his sister Evelyn "Evy" Thompson; his niece Donelda "Nellie" Thompson; and his nephew Kenny Carvery.
