We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Viola (Anderson) Durnford (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Burgeo, Newfoundland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Anderson and Mary Anderson (Hatcher); and her siblings, Ada, Hubert, Eric, Elias and Ted.

She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Michael of Ecum Secum, Michelle (Roger McLaine) of Dartmouth and Scott (Kelley) of Eastern Passage; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Chanhee Jang), Samantha, Celeste (Ellys Parker), Eastern Passge, Christopher (Ani Delice), Keegan and Aidan; her great grandchildren, Lillian, Isadora and Ethan; her siblings, Johanna (Milton Caines), Bonnie, Elizabeth and Allan (Lena); and her siblings-in-law, Audrey Anderson, Laura Anderson, Kay Courtney, Millie (Ron Skinner), Fanny Morrison, Theresa (Corwin Durnford), Deborah (Perry Baggs), Roland (Sybil), Ches, George (Lorraine), Gord (Pheobe), Clyde (Bonnie) and Glenn (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
