He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertal Waldo and Ann Beatrice Smith (Fitzgerald); and his wife Sylvia (Elliott). He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene (David Wagner), Cheryl and Karen (Darryl Erskine); his granddaughter Danielle; his close friend Lynda Coombs; his siblings, Emma Powell, Joan Cox (Joy), Dennis, Neil, Marshall and Charles; and also, Amber (Rick Dittman) and Alan.
