He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Ernie" Shellnutt and Margaret "Peggy" (McLellan-Lewis); his siblings, Barbara (Dixon), Nancy (Stewart), Phillip, Jimmy and William "Billy"; Joan (Bennett).
He is survived by: his wife Ingrid (Bremer); his stepdaughters, Tanja Skanes (Greg) and Kirsten Skanes; his sister Brenda (Henneberry-Haight); and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Shellnutt (Jimmy), Janet Shellnutt (Phillip), Charles Dixon (Barbara) and Tom Henneberry (Brenda). He is also survived by his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
