Wendy Elizabeth MacIntosh Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendy Elizabeth MacIntosh of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Larry; her children, Alan Poole (Dora) and Megan Hamilton (Mike); her sister Marty MacKay (Bob Cameron); her grandchildren, Fayth, Carma, Jaxon Poole, Logan and Rory Hamilton; her friends, Carolyn, Eleanor, Susan and Wendy of Spencer's Point; Rory. She is also survived by her extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program, ElderDogs Canada, the QEII Foundation, the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation, or a cancer care charity of choice.
