He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry William and Alice Mae Martell (Burkey); and his son Trevor. He is survived by: his wife Jennie (Harnish); his daughter Debbie; his granddaughter Jenna; his siblings, Charles, Victor (Cape Breton) and Mary (Sheet Harbour); and his friends, Dr. Paul Christensen and Dr. Chris MacNearney.
