He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shannon and Katherine Shannon. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Christine Wenzoski (Bryan) of Golden, BC, Gwen Arseneault (JP) and John Shannon; his grandchildren, Noraye Norwiss of Vancouver, BC, Tashina, Jordan, Wenzoski and Julia Parsons (Jake); and his great grandchild Carlee Elizabeth Parsons.
