He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Milne and Ella Milne. He is survived by: his wife Jean (Julian); his children, Brenda Callahan, Christine Winsor and William (Wanda); his son-in-law Dave Winsor; his grandchildren, Shelley Duhart (Larry), Ashley Callahan, Vicky Callahan (Nick Demas), Michael, Anthony Winsor, Dylan, Carson and Tyler Milne; his great grandchildren, Lilou, Jakob and Mason; and his siblings, Llewella Bentley (Paul) and James Milne (Marg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife or the SPCA of Nova Scotia.
