He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nicholas Withers and Annie Withers (Brushett); his foster parents, James Vaters and Frances Vaters; his daughters, Rickola and Linda (Brad); his brother Big; his grandchildren, Devin (Homayra) and Jillian; his great grandchild Xavier; his wife Nancy; and his sister Mary Elizabeth Ellis.
A service will be announced and held in St. Paul's Church at a later date due to the current COVID-19 restrictions.
