She was predeceased by : her parents, James Rose and Addie Rose (Hamilton); her husband Thomas William Grue; her son Darrell Eldridge; and her sister Carol McCabe.

She is survived by : her children, Alfred Grue (Tammy), Margaret Lewter (Rodney) and Jamie Eldridge; her grandchildren, Aaron, Bryan, Lian, Linae, Jennifer and Robin; and her brother Fred Rose.
