She was predeceased by : her niece Marilyn Gold; her husband Ira; her parents, Francis Walsh and Myrtle Walsh (Whidden-Smith); her siblings, Dorothy Rector (Millard), Theresa Burley (George), Verna Stone (Russell), Dr. Wyllie Smith (Kaye), Gerald and Fairlie "Midgie" Lynds (Gordon); and her close friend Joyce Kent (Fowlie).

She is survived by : her daughter Cathy Joy; her grandson Adam (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Cohen and Avery; her brother Russell Walsh (Maureen); and also, Orwell and Ripley.
