It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Audrey Gates of Deep Brook, Nova Scotia, born in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 30, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gordon Rice and Lena Rice (Goldsmith); her husband Lewis Starratt Gates; her sister Marjorie Freeman (Ellsworth); and her siblings-in-law, Tom and Irene Banks (Pete).

She is survived by : her son Robert (Terri); her grandchildren, Stephanie (Kelsey) and Nathan (Kristy) of Enfield; her son Murray (Jacqueline); her grandsons, Harrison and Owen of Hammonds Plains; her brother Harold Rice (Pauline) of Lake LaRose; and her nieces and nephews, Richard, Larry, Lynn, Sean, Greg, Jeff, Peter, Cathy, Janine, Suzanne and Lois.

Covid 19 restrictions will be followed.
