He was predeceased by : his parents, James Ellis and Ethel Ellis (Rice). He is survived by : his close friend Simone Comeau; his children, Mitchell Ellis (Pamala Pick) and Jill Ellis (Randy Comeau); his siblings, Jack Ellis, Marjorie Ellis and Donna Peck; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Kai, Abe and Anakin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
