She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Brewster and Clara Brewster (Woodworth); her husband Leonard Melanson; and her brother Stephen Brewster. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Melanson (Glen Soloway), Brenda Melanson (Annette LeBlanc) and Michael Melanson (Wanda Comeau); her sisters, Paulette Read (Edmund) and Marilyn Veinotte (Murray); her sister-in-law Marlene Brewster; and her grandchildren, Stephen Miller, Christina Melanson and Alexandria Bailey. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren.
