He is survived by: his parents, Clifford W. Gavel and Cynthia R. Cook; his wife Pam; his daughter Rachel Smith; and his brothers, Cliff (Marlene), Craig (Kelly), Chris and Clint (Abby). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins.
