He was predeceased by: his parents, Octive Morrell and Irene Morrell (Clarke); his son Ricky Morrell; and his siblings, Shirley, Audrey and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Morrell; his children, Angela Elms (David), Brenda Morrell, Karen Morrell (Stuart MacDonald) and Kevin Morrell (Dianna); his siblings, Gail Morrell, Victor, Ross (Gaye) and Claude Morrell; his grandchildren, Cheryl Santos, Maria Elms, Brandon Elms, Nathon Morrell, Justin Morrell, Nicholas Westbury, Taylor Morrell, Ashton MacDonald and Kailyn MacDonald; and his great grandchildren, Joshaua, Kayla, Breanna, Brayden, Logan and Owen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jayne's Funeral Home (7 Birch St, Digby, NS B0V 1A0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (110 Queen St, Digby, NS B0V1A0). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at the Madonna Cemetery.
