With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Louise VanTassel of Digby, Nova Scotia, born in Meteghan, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 13, 2023 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Louise VanTassel to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frederick Harris and Marie Harris (Saulnier); her son Tracey Darren; and her siblings, George, Dale, Dora Height, Marjorie Keast and Florence Morine.

She is survived by : her husband Eugene "Chucky"; her sons, Blaine (Tina), Keith (Michelle Kaulbach), Jeff (Kim) and Greg (Sylena); and her siblings, Brenda Halliday, Pat Goucher, Debbie Tidd, Holly Comeau, Richard, Ronnie and Steven Harris. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Bear River East Baptist Church, 2710 Clementsvale Road, Bear River East Nova Scotia B0S 1B0.
