With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Kathleen Bent of Digby, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George; her son Jim (James); and her siblings, Charles, Billy, Ronnie, Maisie and Mary.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Hamilton (Brian) of Litchfield, Brenda Bent of Digby, Jermey Bent of Granville Center and John Bent (Darlene) of Digby; her sister Violet Hamilton of Port Royal; her sisters-in-law, Janet Hunt of Toronto and Jean Milne of Granville Center; her grandchildren, Danny (Karen), Linda (Kevin), Leah (Greg), Rylea, Mathew, Tanya (Jermey) and Bethany (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Brooke, Cohen, Chloe and Davin.

Family flowers only, donations can be made to the Wadeville cemetery, IWK Children's Hospital, and Heart and Stroke Foundation.
