He was predeceased by : his siblings, Linda, Dale and Donnie. He is survived by : his children, Jenny VanTassel (Chas), Ivan Milbury (Gerri) and Gerry Patton; and his siblings, Judy, Debbie, Cheryl and Wayne. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Gerald may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

“Gerry was my cousin. He moved to Sudbury, Ontario in his early twenties to get a job in the mine. He lived with us for a couple of years. I spent many hours playing cards with him. He was a great guy. Even though I haven't seen him for many years, I would often remember the good days with him. My sincere condolences to his family on his loss. Pauline Lebeau (Manfred)”
