She was predeceased by: her parents, Loran Potter and Mildred Potter (Wright); her sister Margie Cooper (late Ron); her son Peter Benson; her brother Philip Potter; and her nephew Bradley Potter.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Benson of Bear River; her granddaughter Destiny Lejoure; her great grandchildren, Orianna of Edmonton, AB and Lyshaud Lejoure of Edmonton, AB; and her brothers, Harley (Faye) of Virginia East, Harry (Tanya) of Greenwood and Ross (Susan) of Cornwallis Park.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jayne's Funeral Home (15 Birch St, Digby, NS B0V1A0).
