She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Stanton and Evelyn Stanton (Bates); her husband Arnold Ryan; and her siblings, Helen, Alice, Joyce, Ida, Harley, Gerald, Merle and Clark.

She is survived by: her children, Donald (late Monica), David (Joanne) and Donna (Charles); and her sister Leona. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 14 Great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, Helena also had a lot of extended family.
