He was predeceased by : his parents, George Hartley Balser and Seddie Alice Crosby; and his siblings, Robert, John and Kay.

He is survived by : his brothers, Roger (Tessa) and Peter (Susan); his sister-in-law Frieda; and his wife Wendy Moore of Spryfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Digby Hall.
