Marilyn Carman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Carman (Digby, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Thomas and Phyllis; and her brother Harry. She is survived by: her brothers, David (Sheila) and Murray (Debbie); her sister-in-law Donna Logan; her husband George Carman; her children, Paul (Emily), Joanne (Malcolm Duff) and Sandy (Wade Brockway); her grandchildren, Logan (Taylor), Thian, Meadow, Meghan, Will, Jack and Claire; her great grandchild Lennox; and her friend Tideview. She is also survived by her family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jayne's Funeral Home (15 Birch St, Digby, NS B0V1A0). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the South Range Christian Church (3901 Sissiboo Rd, Barton, NS B0W1H0).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of your choice or to the Tideview Terrace general fund at digby-town-and-municipal-housing-corporation | CharityProfile | Donate Online. All donations made to Tideview will to be used to create a garden in her memory, "Marilyn's Garden", featuring a bench for visiting with friends and family or for reflection.
