He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Wambolt and Vera Wambolt; his sister Debbie Vatcher; and his brothers-in-law, Nathan Winchester, Robie Vatcher and Paul Greenlaw.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Ann Wambolt; his daughters, Haley (Craig) and Hannah (Cale); his stepson Dylan Sabean (Karyn); and his siblings, Faye Greenlaw of Digby, Darlene Winchester (Barry) of Digby, Gary Wambolt (Kim) of Medicine Hat, Luke Wambolt (Tanya) of Digby and Jack Wambolt (Joanne) of Digby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
